"Everything was as it should be: comfortable, quiet, friendly staff. The bonuses were the free shuttle to and from the airport, and the included continental breakfast. The extra pluses were the convenience store across the road for basics, plus a McDonald’s and Denny’s very close by…plus the number 11 bus from right outside going to the downtown area every 30 minutes or so. It takes less than 10 minutes….it is walkable, about 40 minutes I think, but it’s not a particularly pleasant area to walk in. The only negative, and it didn’t affect me, was the location of the coffee pot in the room, well, in room 128 at least. It was impossible to pour water in from its location, and the short power cord made it difficult to move somewhere more convenient. I don’t drink coffee, and no tea bags were provided, so it didn’t affect me personally, but others might find it an issue Apart from that minor thing, everything else was terrific."

"This was an excellent choice for downtown Sacramento. The room was a classic on a riverboat. The meals in the restaurant were very good and service was friendly and efficient. It was an easy 1/2 mile walk to Sutter Health Field where the A's will be playing their home games through 2027. "

"Hotel and rooms are standard. It's nice to have a full fridge and stove if you plan on staying here for a few days. Just an FYI, the room does not come with any pots, pans, or utensils. So bring your own. And don't expect anything from the grab and go breakfast. You will be disappointed to expect anything at all. It was just coffee and a fiber bar. Overall it was a decent place to spend the night."
