"Brianna at the front desk went above and beyond when my daughter left her baby blanket in the room after we checked out. We had made it all the way home 6 hours away before we noticed. Luckily she and the housekeeping staff helped get it back! Hotel is well maintained and staff are great, would recommend! "

"This is an older hotel, so it looks a bit worn. The staff were helpful (fixing our room key, ensuring the lobby always had fresh coffee) and did a good job cleaning our room. The beds and pillows were VERY comfortable. A bit more variety in the breakfast (it was always the same), the fridge had issues (freezing fruit while ice cream melted) grab bars in the tub and an adjustable showerhead would have made it 4.5 star. It short, it was a good value for the money."

"We stayed at the Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain. It was beautiful, despite the snowy weather and cold! The main lodge was also very nice and we ate there for both dinner and breakfast. If you stay in the Overlook Lodge, don't stay in Rm. 201. There is a nearby heavy fire door that slams shut and will not let you rest or sleep. Thankfully, we were able to move to a new room away from the door. I hope the hotel fixes that soon."

"Hotel was pretty, comfortable and superbly clean. Staff is amazing and friendly. However hotels.com said this hotel had a hot tub and full spa. It does not. It has a small gym and an indoor pool that was closed. Hotel is great though and will stay again. I just wish I didnt bring a bikini for the hot tub that doesnt exist. "

"the hotel amenities listed said there were gaming consoles for the kids which was part of why we booked here but the front desk looked at me completely confused when I inquired about it and said they offer no such thing nor ever have. The TV guide didn't work in that is didn't say the shows that were playing so to navigate you had to click through each channel one by one.
