"The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

"Large but still slightly cluttered room. Hotplate and small kitchenette but no sink (plastic bowl) and a fold out table. Freeview TV. Suitable for a night or two but less so for a long stay. Two Fat Possums nearby does wonderful takeout Pizza but very popular on weekend for dine in. Bakery in same shopping centre is superb."

"This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere."
