"It’s great for solo travellers like me. The location is the best part of this hotel as it is in the heart of the old town, which is just walk away from the train station and to other touristy places in Old Town such as the Edinburgh castle and St. Giles cathedral"

"The property was about a ten minute walk to the Royal Mile. It is also located near lots of shopping and dining options. There is a mall located around the corner and a tour bus stop across the street. The steamroom, sauna and pool were very clean and great temperatures."

"We booked the Sheraton Grand as we were going to the Usher Hall that evening. So it was convenient for us & also had on site parking. Everything was excellent about the hotel apart from our check in. Our room was advertised as available from 3pm & we were not able to get into our room as it was not ready for us until 4.20pm. The check in receptionist showed us into the VIP lounge & left us there, it was approx 15 minutes before any of the staff in the lounge asked us if we would like a refreshment. Eventually at 4.15pm I went back to reception & ask if our room was ready & it was. I do wonder how long our room was available & how long the receptionist would have taken to come & let us know the room was now ready for us. That small blip was the only downside we experienced at the Sheraton, everything else was excellent. I would book again if going to Edinburgh."

"Excellent. Staff friendly. Great location for catching the tram. Room clean and fresh. All we needed. Free coffe, tea and water 24 hours a fay down stairs."
