But, also, very close to the local Red River Gorge state parks and national forests. We would look thos place up again first when we come back to the area. Five stars!"

"We knew this first time stay would be great and we were not disappointed. Location was peaceful and serene. The “barndominium” was fantastic and perfect for our needs. Great style with lots of added touches such as books about the local area. Decor was spot on. Beds were super comfortable. Clean as a whistle too. Added bonus - all appliances, utensils, cleaning needs were exceeded. Location was great too! We would happily go back."

"We planned our last-minute trip to the area, and the host was very helpful and super communicative in regards to the property and the check in. The home is well stocked, nicely decorated, clean and well-maintained. The family that stayed in the other half of this property, had children as well, so they all played ping-pong and games together while us adults sat by the fire and chatted, all in all a really great stay. I would highly recommend this property and this host for future rentals"

"My family stayed in this home for 2 nights— we were 1 couple, 1 single adult, 2 children and 1 dog! The home is not large, but still felt spacious and SO much has been done to make it feel like home (including very comfortable beds!) The "adventure" design aesthetic has been very thoughtfully implemented throughout the house, making it feel like you're on a Wes Anderson set! There was plenty of space in the back bedroom for my dog's large crate, and enough distance from the neighbors for...

"We were coming to town to celebrate my son's wedding and we needed a big house. Not easy to find in this area. This house fit the bill and was simply AMAZING! The house is easily the best house that we have ever stayed at...hands down! Plenty of rooms and everything you could ever need to play, cook, and relax with family and friends. "The host was quick to answer any and all questions. Everything I needed was available and the property was clean. The host went as far as giving us the connecting unit at no extra charge for my family and I to have more room. It was nice being able to walk out onto the shared porch and spend time together. The fire pits were a great time and the extra fire wood that was supplied came in handy. Would hook here again for sure :) "
