"First you get what you pay for and based on that it was excellent. But areas to improve on pillows too small and flat only offered two per bed. My suggestion is to upgrade pillows or offer four pillows per bed. Next no blanket. Again overall you pay what you ask for cheap dated property that is clean and the staff is nice "

"The Iowa House is closing soon and it's obvious that there has been reinvestment into the property in quite some time. Everything about the hotel seems to be outdated and is in need for updating or repair -- which obviously isn't going to happen with the hotel closing. So, with that, the service is excellent and the location is ideal. The $300ish dollars a night seems fair considering market alternatives. Just know that the place is pretty worn down. "

"Overall property and room were nice and clean. The beds are fairly comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking ramp is conveniently tied to the hotel, and within walking distance to restaurants making driving unnecessary. The few drawbacks were noise related: the air conditioners are fairly loud when they kick in, but may be used to help drown out the second noise related issue: noise from other rooms which seem to be carried through shared vents.
