"We had a wonderful stay in Toward. The location of the cottage is idyllic, and it was sometimes hard to do anything other than watch the water and the birds and ships passing by. But walking around the shoreline and exploring Dunoon were worth the effort and we found good local places to eateffort.atshoreline arouheadland "

"The apartment is clean and comfortable with great views. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although apart from salt, pepper and cooking oil there were no other basics such as tea and coffee.Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to park in front of the property. It might not suit those with mobility issues as the (internal) stairs to the property are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. "

"Friendly yet professional staff from check-in to departure. Very comfortable room with well stocked hospitality tray and bathroom toiletries. Lovely to see large bath sheets for drying yourself. Evening meal delicious and lots of choices as was breakfast the next morning. Would definitely return if we ever had to come to Ayr again. Thank you"
