"Intrigued by the nose bears, but mostly ready to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the place, I was working in the area this week and took the opportunity to stay here for a second time. Friendly staff, good food, hundreds of elephants and a beautiful setting are all an attraction. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here as often as I have opportunity. An old water mill, this hotel/ inn is owned and run by a wonderful Danish eccentric - I hope she wouldn't mind me calling her that, but where else would...

"Situated with views of the beautiful countryside and sunsets. The owners really care about their hotel and it shows they their friendliness and helpfulness. It is very clean, neat, tidy & safe. The meals are all just fabulous. I can highly recommend the fish and vegetables! On a main road yet extremely quiet. Close to a bus stop or plenty of off street free parking. A five minute drive to the famous Bork Vikingmuseet."

"I has an excellent stay at Centerhotel.dk. The room was very clean and cosy, The owner was very nice and friedly, helping with all my needs. It is also very convenient that they have a big department store very close, open until midnight"

"Don’t trust the photos on the webpage. The cabins are close to falling apart. In ours you couldn’t properly close the window and one of the kitchen benches was broken. Paint was peeling off the walls and the cabin had a weird, musty smell. Staff was friendly, but not very quick. Upon check-in we had to wait for more than 30 min to get the key even though it was already 5:30pm by the time we arrived (at least we got a free ice cream for the long wait). "Stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment across from hotel. It was clean, spacious and even offered a nice balcony with views over the harbor. A bit cold this time of year. Checkin was simple and easy using the codes provided. And Lone, in the reception was very friendly and accommodating. Each morning we walked over and grabbed our breakfast box and coffee from the hotel lobby and brought them back to our apartment as it was a bit cozier there. Breakfast area in lobby was clean and simple and they had dishes, utensils, coffee and tea available 24/7. While it was out of season, we enjoyed every minute and would recommend the apartments the hotel offers especially for families or multiple couples. We will be back. "
