"Everything about this stay was wonderful. Peggy’s cabin was exactly as described and in great condition. She was a great host, communicating before, during and after our stay. Oh and fresh bread/cookies and muffins waiting for us. We saw some elk, visited with our son who is at Penn State and hiked around Parker Dam. 10/10. Will definitely be back. Ok, the driveway is a bit nerve wracking pulling out but a minor inconvenience."

"The property was and lodging were very very nice and well stocked with everything we needed. We did not know that it was the Elk rut season. There was a great viewing are close to the cabin. It is a great place to get away if you want some quite time. There are things to do in nearby towns 30-40 minutes away. I'm from PA, so already knew that it takes time on back country roads. You can't get to where you are going by how the crow flies. LOL We really enjoyed our time there!"

"Beautiful cabin very friendly owners. Had a couple hiccups at first but all worked out. It is secluded and peaceful yet still close enough to any stores or activities that you might want to do while you are there. There are no TVs and we didn’t kiss them at all we took time to sit in the porch, listen to the creek and birds, we even did a puzzle while were were there. Thank you to the hosts that allowed us to escape from our everyday life."

"The property is isolated with no outside distractions. The stars shine bright and the wildlife is abundant. A perfect place to relax under the stars beside the fire pit. "

Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used...

I recommend this Best Western hotel

"I looked online for a hotel that was the halfway point on our drive to Greenwich Connecticut from Michigan. I chose Best Western because it seemed nice, had a hot tub, free breakfast and a sofa in our room. We were not disappointed. The accommodations were very nice, comfortable and clean. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was clean and breakfast was extensive and yummy. "

"we stopped over at this location on a long commute. checked in in the middle of the night and the associate was very courteous at the front desk. the room was cozy cause it was carpeted and the water pressure and heat was outstanding. there was coffee and quick grab breakfast in the lobby. thank you for a good quick stay."
