"We had a lovely stay here and would return again. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. There was a good selection for breakfast and all the meals we had during our stay was excellent. Our room was great, with a nice cosy theme. The bed was too firm for me and my partner, though that is down to personal preference and no fault of the hotel. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a good choice of food on the dinner menu. "Arrived late Friday night to a warm welcome and warm clean rooms. Great sized family room with a double bed, tele and books in the 1st, with twin beds in a room that led from it. Hubby even managed to get a drink once we'd unloaded the car. Tasty breakfast with choice of cereals, yoghurts and full English which could be adapted down to a bacon sandwich or something else if preferred. Friendly owner and car park adjacent where we could see our car from our room. Nice view of fields and sheep out...
