"Six couples in our family stayed at Far Tortuga for a week and had a wonderful getaway. The house accommodated us very well. Each couple had a private bedroom with its own en-suite bath, and the gathering spaces were large enough for all of us to play games, dine together, watch TV, or just visit. We snorkeled and kayaked right off the private pier and enjoyed sitting outside or in the screened porch every morning. The kitchen is well equipped, and we used it a lot. "We had a great stay the week before Christmas. The house is right on the beach, so you get to relax to the sound of the waves. It's not a swimming beach, but lovely all the same. We spent a lot of time at Kaibo Beach and Rum Point, both white sand beaches with a great vibe and just ten minutes away. The house is well equipped and clean, just as advertised. "Private beach, pool, plenty of lounge chairs & a spacious house with plenty of room for the nine of us (6 adults, one 3 yr old, and two 1 yr olds)… what more could you ask for??? We loved being on Bioluminescent Bay. The paddle boards and kayak were so much fun. From the house it is an easy walk to Rum Point Club (highly recommend), Kaibo, and Starfish Point (all great). Definitely need to plan ahead for groceries, and allow plenty of time when driving to the airport or 7 mile beach. Villa...

"The Indigo exceeded all our expectations. Amazing staff, beautiful accommodations, excellent food and extremely kid friendly. Despite not being on the beach, it’s an easy/ safe walk or golf cart ride away. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"We loved our ocean-view king: lovely room, nice balcony, coffee and fridge, great dive shop staff, nice pool and hot tub, lots of fish in the reef and the area right off the property’s dock, lovely restaurant with charming staff. We didn’t have a car, but had no trouble getting public buses to and from great snorkel spots down the west coast and around the south shore, or to the Botanic Gardens. They stop at Finch and Fountain (heading east) or Andersen and Birch Hill Road (heading north) in a loop that goes past Foster’s (a big grocery store) and heads down Seven Mile Beach to Heroes Square in Georgetown, where you can transfer to east end or Rum Point buses."
