"The cabin is spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay - our activities were mostly in French Lick, but it's not a bad drive, although it is VERY dark at night, lol. The weather was still nice enough in October that we were able to sit outside for awhile in the evening and enjoy the river view. We also traveled to Loogootee and enjoyed Stoll's Lakeview restaurant, the home-cooked meal was wonderful. A lighter weight blanket would be nice for the bedroom with the double bed - the quilt...

"Our family stayed at this cabin for a week. It was secluded but pretty close to everything. The cabin had everything we needed and the fall colors were beautiful. The party barn was fun for everyone, but the kids especially loved playing Monopoly. We enjoyed visiting the state park and Marengo Caves! We will definitely come back and stay here next time we come down to southern Indiana."

"When we arrived and was driving down the gravel road I thought to myself what have I got ourselves into, but at the end of the lane was a beautiful home and property. The owners meet us there and went over all the amenities and explained a few other things in the house to us. The place was spotless and the outside area was where we spent most of our time. Would definitely go back and a bonus is it’s only 2 miles to downtown French Lick."

"There was plenty of room for everyone. Inside and also the nice big yard and especially the extra bedrooms. The only thing I would request is a handrail by the front steps. The young people enjoyed the animals in the next field."

"Beautifully decorated, modern and cozy cottage with everything you need for your stay, plus some little extra surprises! Owner was very attentive, as we were there during a winter storm, and he cleared sidewalks and driveway promptly. We will definitely make this place our yearly anniversary getaway! "

"We had a group of families go to The Polar Express and this VRBO was a great place for us to stay and relax. The kids enjoyed playing outside on this beautiful farm while the adults gathered around the fire pit that was well stocked with wood and comfy chairs. We look forward to staying here again. It is very close to French Lick and the scenic railway."

Well stocked kitchen, fun game room for all ages, cozy gathering spaces and great sleeping options for extended families. Breathtaking views out of every window! "We celebrated Christmas early with our families. We did some baking as a group, some game playing. Space was absolutely perfect for that with the large island for cookie and peanut butter ball making. The basement space gave those older kids a great place to hang out. Great family memories were made!"
