Melinda and Mike are the most amazing host I have ever experienced in a travel. They fixed our group a healthy breakfast and made sure our stay was amazing. Will definitely be back to this home for a stay in the future. "

"The house was decorated very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes andutensils! The shower caddy had a hairball and under the sink was disorganized and gross. Overall it was great.This would be amazing in the summer time!"

"The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. The title i gave is because we had two beautiful bald eagle flying around just off of the back deck on our second day. If you know the song salsbury hill maybe you will understand. We really just wanted to escape the everyday hustle and bustle and we did just that. The tv use could use better instructions. Everything else was great. Did not meet the owners, we just needed some down time and we got it. I would rent this again for sure. "

"Beautiful cabin on the edge of thick woods. Packed with everything you need, this was a wonderful getaway for the wife and I. We went on a nice long ruck, and ended with a good soak."

"We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint cabin off the river! It was so nice to sit outside on the patio with a glass of wine, enjoying the beautiful view and the sounds of nature after a long day of sightseeing. It was awesome to have so many different animals visiting the property and so cool to see all the turtles basking in the sun. We even spent a few hours fishing on the river right there on the property (had to buy fishing license and equipment 1st). Susan is the BEST Host ever! Thank you for such a great time! Wish we could have stayed a few more days! Hope to visit again!"
