"We really loved our stay at Amrath Hotel in Alkmaar! Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the area was wonderful. There's a nice park right across the canal that flows in front of the hotel, and the central town area is an easy walk. There we found great restaurants, a picturesque town, all the shopping a person could want, church bells that rang and played beautiful music, and lots of friendly people with their dogs. The hotel was an easy walk from the train station too. We would be happy to stay there again."

"A very good town centre hotel in a largely pedestrianised area. The staff were all polite, spoke good English and helpful. A nice terrace for good weather. The beef restaurant below was great. There was also an all you can eat Chinese I've nearby."
