"The little cottage has been renovated to a quality standard. Very quiet and peaceful, with 1 min walk to the river for swimming and fishing.Damian and Tracy are beautiful hosts, inviting us to help ourselves in the orchard, glasshouse, and even eggs from the free range chickens.Masterton is only a few minutes drive on a good road. We fully recommend Northfield Farm Cottage. It's so relaxing. Excellent value for money"

"Close to Clareville Cafe for lunch, Masterton Saturday market, Wairarapa south coast adventures & Greytown shopping (including top Butcher). And home base citrus trees. Teenagers (& Adults) loved the pool"

"Lovely property inside and out with detail to gorgeous finishing touches. Spotlessly clean.We were going to go into town for dinner on the Saturday night but didnt want to leave, so had a barbecue under the beautiful pergola. Instead, We are already planning our next stay."

"This is a fantastic bolt hole where you can get away and relax, it's cosy and private. Being close to Greytown it is a good base for exploring the Wairarapa.Cooking is simple, on a BBQ, we loved it.Tom was always available if we needed him, otherwise we were left alone to enjoy the space.See you next year Tom."

"This was such a lovely place to stay. It's homely, super cute, with many retro touches and wonderful hosts. Breakfast supplies include freshly baked bread. There are three friendly dogs who are just delightful. Even though it's close to Greytown, you really feel like you're in the country. I highly recommend this as a place to stay. "

"This is a great place to relax and chill. Good for winter or summer, with the woodburner and the spa. Surrounded by trees, places to walk. The local pub does a mean (big!) burger, and Castlepoint is a short drive away for a walk or surf or swim. Fully kitted out kitchen, and Masterton supermarkets not far away. Wifi works fine. Perfect escape for a long weekend."

"Communication with the owners were easy & they were so friendly! Key was in the door ready for us to arrive and we could settle in. Beds made with all linen provided along with towels and everything you needed. Cottage is beautiful and cosy! Stunning views across the farm!Many great movies and board games avaliable to use, and also badminton ready to go in the backyard. Full fridge and freezer in kitchen and freeview TV available. At night it was spectacular!! The stars were in the thousands and...
