They don't force their hospitality they treat you as a friend. I had thought I lost my watch and they found it after I checked out, it has great sentimental value to me so I am eternally grateful. "We had a very nice stay at the Lion. It's a fascinating old building in a great central location. The rooms are basic, but very clean and the bed was comfortable with great pillows. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is a little frayed around the edges, but that adds to the character! The staff were all lovely and very helpful."
