"We had a fantastic huge room and bed with a large ensuite bathroom equipped with bath and double shower. The building is old so sloping floors etc expected, its like an aladdins cave, but we were happy with food, breakfast was a great portion and lots of choice. We had dinner too and a good price for what we had. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. "

"What a happy accident. We made a very last minute decision to have a stay on the North Norfolk Coast and picked The Maltings almost by sticking a pin in the list. It turned out we had chosen one of the finest hotels we could have found and the location was perfect. The hotel staff were extremely friendly without being overly intrusive and the hotel itself is really cosy and welcoming. There are lots of areas to sit and rest with a drink. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away and that opens the opportunity to head into Sheringham along the coastal path. We ate at the local pub, but the hotel restaurant looks really inviting and the food top quality. We did have breakfast there and sure enough it was delicious. Altogether a memorable break in a hotel fitting for the discerning guest. "

"Lovely hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway! Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and lovely restaurant to dine in, we'll definitely be back for another visit. Only criticism would be a few rogue hairs in the shower tray on arrival, however the cleanliness other than this was fantastic. "

"My husband and i booked an overnight stay for valentines day, we were greeted warmly by very friendly staff, the hotel itself was very inviting with beautiful decor and a relaxed vibe our dining experience was lovely amazing food served by a very sweet waitress followed by a delicious breakfast the next day. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything accessible for an overnight stay, we loved the little valentines touches added to our stay little heart chocolates on our pillows and beautiful red roses on the dining table for dinner followed by a fantasic jazz band playing throughout the evening. We would both highly recommend visiting this hotel it did not disappoint, we will certainly be visiting again soon."

"We would love to stay again, really enjoyed it. Room was comfortable, dinner & breakfast both relaxed and beautifully cooked. Dog freindly, so was great for us. The space is understandibly put aside mostly for diners with tables set up, but the bar area could really do with being larger and more comfy seating. Posh, obnoxious kids took over in the bar which was annoying, but that is not the establishments fault."
