Just a FYI: The cottage was quite a few stairs. We could have used a few extra towels. But it was extremely clean and the kitchen area was well stocked. "

"Great location to walk to the beach or to the pier. The top floor requires many steps so if you have a hard time with mobility this would not work for you. We loved it! So clean and well stocked with dishes, appliances and cookware. The recliners are the bomb! Bed was comfortable as well. Two air conditioners which kept us comfortable. "This was our first time to New England (my aunt & I), and we stayed for a couple nights here to experience the beach life in southern Maine. This was such a cute beach town, lots of quaint beach shops, great restaurants (including Johnny Schuck’s which totally changed my mind on lobster - if you stay here you have to get their lobster roll!), and of course the beach. It’s literally a two minute walk to the beach, and they have 2 beach towels included. If you want to do more beach activities...

"Nice condo in a good location. Very much central walking distance to all shops and restaurants in downtown Portsmouth. Lots of stairs, so it could be a little tricky with luggage and also the spiral staircase going up to the bedroom on the second floor. There is a bar down below that plays live music and it can get pretty lively until kind of late but other than that it is a great place to stay "
