"Especially in Bath, hotels are very expensive. This hotel was significantly cheaper. Even compared to the (proper) Bailbrook hotel (which will be nicer), I would definitely say it's worth saving the money and come here. It's somewhat dated (I haven't seen a Corby trouser press before, I thought it was a myth!), but for the cash you get a nice bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and a comfy bed. What more do you want for half the price of a 4 star or a Travelodge? On top of this, you get free...

Rooms dated in placesbbut well decorated and super clean Beds comfy a bit noisy when other guests arrived but just squeaky floors rather than loud guests. Bath was broken kids were gutted but would definitely recommend it and we will come back again."

"The staff were wonderful. The room was a good size and was welcoming. It was a continental breakfast, which suited us, as we were able to get what we wanted and take it to the room to eat. The dinner was delicious and there was plenty of it. Because the hotel is not staffed overnight, they asked if we wanted fresh milk and organised a little bottle for us. They also gave me a large bottle of water, as I had not had time to buy one."

"This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The owner was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the beautiful dining room just made the whole thing magical. It wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an experience. "It’s in a cute little town in a good central location for South western England. We used it for a 5 day home base to visit different locations near by. The Host, Kathryn is very nice and a great host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Breakfast was taylored to what you wanted and very good. Highly recommend "
