"We forgot my aunts cat carrier and they notified us, also they gave us a larger cabin because we have a toddler at no extra cost. Summer, autumn, winter this is the only place to stay. We had to stay a half hour longer than expected and there was no issue. My husband loved the porch and the calmness of the location. There’s even a fire pit! A true hidden gem on PEI. "

We were honored to be the first guests and it’s hard to convey how blessed we felt to stay at this adorable cottage with it’s stunning view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets! We felt pampered with all the thoughtful amenities and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! "

"This amazing property defied all of our expectations! The location was magical--private in a meadow of wildflowers, yet only 10 minutes from town, the beach, and great dining. The house was clean and so comfortable for our week-long stay. The added games, DVDs and water sports equipment was perfect. Even the mosquitos accommodated and weren't very bothersome. Erika was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We're already talking about coming next summer for two weeks at Windy Dreas! ....

"We enjoyed the peace and quiet after a busy day touring the Island. The Big Cottage is an older building with a cozy, rustic feel. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. Just bring food and your personal belongings and you are set! The property is large, a long way from the road and very well maintained. Kids and dogs will love it!"

"Because weather is unpredictable, this place is perfect if what you want is to share time with friends or family you don’t get to see too often. Plenty of room (and then some) for three adult couples - each had their own bathroom as well; well-equipped kitchen; lots of indoor/outdoor seating (covered and uncovered); BBQ; hot tub (sheltered); indoor sauna… this home really does have everything. It is also very tastefully decorated and homey. And although it might not be available for every...

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "
