"My husband & I stayed in The Slaughter Country Inn for 5 nights during our visit to the Cotswolds. The service at the inn, along with in their restaurant, was top-notch. The meals at the inn were excellent, much better than we have experienced in most inns in the U.S. The cottage that we stayed in was roomy and comfortable with a living room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. "Lovely room above a nice pub in the centre of Warwick. Room nicely decorated, bed comfortable. Very good bathroom with a bath. Spotlessly clean. Its in an old building, but its decorated as modern as it could be without comprising the old features. Its a little noisy, and not good window coverage to keep the daylight out. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. "

"All good - Food in the Pub excellent. Can recommend the Steak Diane. Good atmosphere. There were 6 of us. All happy with our stay. Stairs a bit high to the top bedroom but we were ok. Food in the pub across the road looked good Tilted Wig. Especially the Sunday Roast. The smallest pub in Warwick a few yards away. Excellent. Everything on hand. Couldnt fault it. A great stay everything walkable. "

"The location in Winchcombe is beautiful. Cotswold Old with cottages draped in climbing roses. Our room for the price was as described. Clean but a bit rickety. Everything creaked. The food was stunning and it was a very nice pub with a very good choice of beers and ales on tap. We were a tad put out there was no breakfast option on Expedia. Only available if you book direct."

"This is a very beautiful little pub. The rooms are all unique and have their own charecters. Staff are really friendly. The continental breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket outside your room or you can have a cooked breakfast in the bar. Parking via car park is right outside and shopping is just a short walk away "

"This castle did not disappoint! From the outside it appears like a "real" castle (because it is/was). But the inside has modern decor and amenities. The beds were super comfortable. Check in/out was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was AMAZING! I have 3 teen daughters and they had a fun time doing a castle photo shoot. So many cute nooks and scenery. We highly recommend this property!!!"

"Clean facilities, excellent food, tea coffee etc, and customer service, some fittings broken cracked or missing in room. Nothing that takes away from a excellent experience, only visual. Asleep or out most of the time anyway"
