"A very pleasant place in the Taunus, northwest of Frankfurt. Our goal was to visit Braunfels. www.hotels.com said that Braunfels is only 14 miles from Braunfels. I suppose this might be true if we had our own personal helicopters, but we had to drive, so it was more like 20 miles (35 minutes) through interesting villages and peaceful countryside. We used Gasthof Pension Sonnenberg as our jumping-off point to visit Wetzlar and Braunfels, and it suited us fine. The breakfast is standard...

"Für meine Zwecke vollkommen in Ordnung, da ich es nur als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit genutzt habe und die gesamten Tage über weg war. Allerdings trotzdem 2 Sterne Abzug, da: - es sich trotz Beschreibung um eine Raucherwohnung handelt - der Punkt Sauberkeit zwar für die meisten Oberflächen erfüllt war, dennoch man sich die Wohnung mit mehreren Spinnen und Mücken teilen musste, da u.a. das Mückengitter am Fenster riesige Löcher hatte. Dennoch ist die Lage zu loben, denn wer nur Zeit in der Natur...

"Was all very well and nice house and a nice environment and good owner but you absolutely have to bring the check-in and check-out times in accordance with those of the property owners check-in NOt 4 pm BUT 2 pm and check-out NOT 11 am BUT 10 am this has been very frustrating"
