"Enjoyed my last minute stay at the property. The !@-receptionist changed our room to the upgraded modern rooms. The foos in the restyarnt was lovemy would recommend the chicken fajitas and the chocolate fudge cake. Will definitely be making ankther visit "

"Loved our superior woodland lodge upgrade,the friendliness of staff,an amazing facial and massage and the tasting menu in the beautiful sandeman dining room. Didn't enjoy our steak . Had to buy sides and steak was tough. All other food fantastic. "

"This was a charming stay. We loved the house and our room … very pretty and spacious enough with good natural light. Breakfast was very tasty and the owner was quite friendly. He shared many tips of things to see in the area during our short stay and following his tips helped give us a fondness for this town and area of Scotland. We hope to stay there again sometime soon. "Although a old building it was very cosy, clean and tidy. Room was nice and clean. Only one wee thing, when we handed in our key on departure, the gentleman on reception did not even ask if we had a nice stay or was everything alright with our stay, not a nice example of hospitality. We will be back, but just a wee thing."
