It is near hiking trails, some breweries/orchards and while we didn’t go to dinner, there were restaurants around as well. The house was as described, spacious and had a lot to offer. "This was our fifth time staying at the cabin and as always it was perfect. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and cooked a full feast easily with the appliances and cookware found in the kitchen. We even woke up to snow a few times that week. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and the fireplace each day. Beds are comfy, rooms are cozy and location is ideal. With close proximity to Woodstock, Tannersville and West Kill we were able visit some of our favorite places in the mountains. We’ll be back....

"Property owner was very responsive and easily accessible. Our power was out when we got there and we were provided updates as to when everything would be restored in a timely manner. House was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay around West Shokan."

"I don't like to put negative energy out into the Universe BUT... from the steep slippery stairs to the upside down entry door to the lack of water- no water at all in the morning- then the sulfuric water. And then there was the creepy cat picture on the wall. We named the place the S King Lodge after our favorite horror writer. The stairs alone are a red red flag.
