"Our family have been frequently staying at this location for many years in excess of 10. The staff are always friendly and polite. Most of them have been employed there for years. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is very good with a large variety. There are two swimming pools and a hot tub. Also the bike rental is next door and that's convenient. We hope to stay for many more years ...always in April. "

"This was our first time at The King and the Prince resort. They blew it out of the water. The staff was friendly, place was clean. Amenities were great! We enjoyed getting coffee at the cottage on the property and being able to walk right out to the beach. The pool and bar staff were amazing! The food at the restaurant on the property is good, not great. The views at the restaurant overlook the beach were so nice! My husband and I got some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. We would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here. "

"We come here twice a year just to get away. The beach is awesome and it's right out the back door. The beach is like your own private place. 2 or 3 people are always out there and they are like 100 yards away from you."

"Beautiful antique elegant old southern inn. Beautifully restored. New bathrooms, great mattresses and high count linens. Nice pool and all kinds of interesting antique houses on the campus. Probably the best place for bike trails anywhere on the whole east coast. Curvy, paved canopy trails many along/near the beaches. A few small group bike tour companies were staying there. "
