"Our stay at Maison de Charme au Pied de la Cathedrale was fabulous. We were there for the month of October 2024. The location is superb with the cathedral being just a half block away. Plus, every bakery, butcher, seafood shop, grocery store, wine shop, clothing store, bar and restaurant you could imagine is no more than 3 blocks away, We walked everywhere. The Jardin Public is one block away where you will find hundreds of different trees from all over the world planted in the 1800's. And, St Omer has a bus service that runs about every 15 minutes to get you to and from anywhere in town for 1 euro ! The tourist office is right around the corner from the house. They are very helpful and patient, All the people we met in town were kind. The house has 3 stories. First floor has the kitchen, dining room, living room and one full bathroom. The kitchen is big and fun to cook in. It has a great stove and ovens. There is plenty of counter space, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, clothes washer and microwave oven. It opens to a pretty courtyard with lots of plants and flowers. There is a large dining room table. The living room is comfortable. The TV works well and the wifi throughout the house is fast. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. One of the bedrooms opens to a pretty balcony. The third floor has a large bedroom and full bathroom. It is bright, roomy and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern. There is plenty of hot water and heat."

"We have stayed here on numerous occasions as only about 40mins from the tunnel . Wonderful quiet location, beautiful house and lovely owner. Very comfortable beds. "

"My wife and I have been visiting Hotel St. Louis over a number of years and have never been dis-appointed. It is convenient to Channel Ferries and has safe parking. The staff are very helpful and dinner presentation and food excellent. Breakfast was also good value. Main wing of Hotel also has a lift to all floors. "

"Nice little hotel. Could do with tea and coffee facilities fur the money charged, however, the staff were extremely friendly andst us take coffee up to our room. Would stay again. "

"This was our first time holidaying in France and it didn’t disappoint. The house has everything needed to make the break enjoyable, with plenty of room, beautiful deck and grassed area and the bonus for our boys was the sports area at the back of the garden, where they made lots of friends. As a base this was perfect and we used the local pool with a great slide and inflatables. We were able to food shop local and had a day in Lille which was excellent and experienced some basketball playing from the Olympics. We will certainly return as we had a fabulous time. "
