"We truly appreciated the uniqueness and history of this property. Most of the accommodations made us feel like we'd taken a step back in time. It was fun. Two items, we needed Kleenex and there was none provided. The second is, the neighborhood around the mansion was a bit sketchy, which was not a problem for us as we were only overnight. "

"Large room/bathroom with beautiful antique furniture. We stayed in the Benjamin room. Was a bit chilly in room upon arrival. We asked the property caretaker about how to adjust heat (old time radiators in room but they were not putting off any heat) she seemed to adjust the boiler thermostat but it did not make a difference. Found out that there was supposed to be a space heater in room from another guest and after texting the request to a number provided in host instructions they brought one to...

"The area is full of large stately homes from the heyday of St Joe. It was pretty quiet at night but close to some nice restaurants and shops. Really easy to get anywhere within St Joe. We enjoyed a walk along the boulevard system - a 5 min drive and dinner at the Frederick Inn (3 minutes). We were here to visit family. "

"Took my wife here for her 40th birthday to take a break from our kids and have a 'slow' weekend. What a wonderful visit. Host was very communicative and helped with any/all questions we had. Next time we are going to bring our kids to enjoy the time with us. Sunrises/Sunsets are breathtaking. Peacefulness and quietness were a very welcomed break for those that live in the city. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful retreat. Firepit was a great addition to add to that...
