"My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. We would recommend this property and its proprietors without hesitation and hope...

"Overall, I liked this cottage. It is definitely out in the country so I hope anyone looking at this home understands that moths and spiders exist in the world. We named the spiders and left them alone and nobody was bothered by them. The other reason for the 3 stars on cleanliness was just because some of the bathroom items could have been cleaner, including the shower mat. Sandra, the owner, was super responsive and wonderful. However, they do have a property manager, and I tried to contact him...

"The Byre is an incredible place to stay. Very well and thoughtfully presented with everything we needed for our week on Skye. Spotlessly clean. An ideal space for a couple's get away. Loved the quirky spiral staircase and mezzanine bedroom with a superb view over the bay."

"This property was a very nice place to stay while in Isle of Skye. It is quite remote though, but, I think that is the nature of the Isle itself. The space is nicely laid out and worked for our larger group. I would only add, that kitchen set up was a bit odd (i.e. things were located in very odd places - or least not exactly where I would expect them to be) so were constantly rummaging through cabinets trying to find things. Overall, this is a lovely home and place to stay."

"Duibaig house is perfect for the travellers that are willing to do few extra miles in order to experience Skye nature. The vue from the house is just splendid. The kitchen is very well appointed (way better than usual) for those that like to cook. The house is very spacious and bright, thanks to the skylight, and offer a lot of space to relax."
