"We had an incredible stay at Ridgeview retreat in Maggie Valley! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort and fun. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with everyone in the family in mind. The highlight was definitely the endless entertainment options available—there was something for everyone, from board games, fully equipped game rooms for the kids, an incredible theater room and plenty of cozy spaces (including a sauna) for all to unwind. The outdoor areas, including the hot tub and fire pit, provided the perfect setting for relaxation after a day of exploring the area. "There are NO reviews available for this property. Now we know why. So, only leaving this note since there is no point going threu the process.The remote road is hard core the last 1/2 mile. Mostly one way with blind curves. If you meet oncoming vehicles someone'e is backing up blind and it's too stressful. The property is beautiful.We took a wrong turn, ended up w a flat tire in a creek bed middle of nowhere. It's not for the faint of heart."

"Overall, Eagle Ridge Maggie Valley was a great place to stay. The house is nice and comfortable. The views from the deck are amazing. If clear, star gazing is fantastic. There’s a fire pit on the deck, which was a little worrisome with the variable winds and embers potentially landing on the wooden deck. I’d suggest bringing some dry wood as the wood provided was damp and very smoky while burning. The house was clean upon arrival but we were inundated by swarms of ladybugs, some stink bugs, and some yellow jackets that made their way into the house. Not much the host can do about that- just goes with the territory. Just be aware you might need to vacuum up some bugs. The vacuum provided was full of dirt and debris and sort of smelled musty upon use. But, it got the job done. My son and I hiked down to one of the nearby creeks. A bit slippery with wet leaf fall, so be careful. Down is always easier, hiking back up is pretty exhausting unless you’re are a fit 19 year old like my son! Ha! There is one other residence nearby but nobody occupied that house during our stay, so it was very quiet. The other house seems well taken care of. It would have been impossible to reach the house without a 4 wheel drive vehicle had the road been snowy or more wet. Wet leaves and mud made part of the trip scary. It rained the last night and we had difficulty making it out with a front wheel drive vehicle. Not a deal breaker, just be prepared for white knuckles. 😀 "
