"The property was lovely. Original and charming. Reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Right opposite the station. We parked in the station car park as the hotel one was full. It was £8 for the 18 hours we were there. Good value for Newcastle. We booked one of the small standard doubles. It is what is says - small. It was clean and quieter than expected. Ok for a night but in future we would book a bigger room. Nice for a one night stay "

"Room was brilliant, definitely opt for the premier rooms, spa was okay. Feel like for the price of the rooms you should be give full access to the spa not just the 25m pool, sauna and steam room (which was always very full for the 1hr access you get. "

"The hotel is really high quality. The rooms are a great size with all the amenities and great bathrooms. The bus into the city centre is right outside and it’s about 10 minutes to the metro station. Would definitely stay here agsin"

"I would have provided full stars if the cleanliness didn’t let it down. On arrival, I went to run my child a bath and there was a pubic hair in the tub, so I checked the shower and a blatant pubic hair left on the cubicle floor, and finally there was what looked like a boot print on the base sheet on the bed. The staff were very quick to send someone to change the sheet. The customer service was second to none, everyone was extremely friendly and professional. It is a shame that those incidences...
