"Paws was an outstanding little inn. Dog friendly is an understatement, everything about the little b&b is centered around making your dog feel welcome - from in room bowls and beds to treats in the lobby. Even if you aren’t traveling with a dog, it’s an outstanding room in a location that’s walkable to all of Newport - all at a price that’s a fraction of the nearby hotels. Great find - we will be back!"

"Location is great and the room was very pretty. Bathroom was nicely updated with a huge rain shower head. We stayed in 121, our friends were in 119 which had a beautiful king sized canopy bed and nice sitting area. Breakfast was just ok...we'd probably enjoy the cafe downstairs instead if we visited again. Our room had a weird musky mens cologne smell and the wall unit didnt seem to work. We set it at 63 and it was pretty warm in the room."

"The Sarah Kendall House was a delightful part of our short stay in Newport. The entire house is gorgeous, and our room was amazing from the size, beauty and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom to the window view of the harbor. Breakfast was a feast of delicious foods. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. Thanks to all at the Sarah Kendall House who made our one night in Newport absolutely perfect! "

Great restaurants and oyster shack very close which was nice for a couple of our meals! Highly recommend this fun place. It was a great taste of Cape Cod history and culture! "

"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
