"Possibly the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was old and in poor shape, stained lampshade on the tiny desk. Glass door to bathroom so all light flooded thru there. Curtains did not meet in the middle in the bedroom. Bathroom was designed as a wet room, no shower curtain, awkward tiny 1cm "step" between toilet and shower. Kept falling over it. Windows and glass shelf in bathroom were very dirty. Tiled floor in bathroom very slippery when wet no mat provided....

"You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in Galle than this. One of the best places I’ve stayed in for a long time. I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. Free tea and coffee all day and the use of a fridge and freezer was amazing. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. "

"We had a fantastic two nights at The Sun House, located up the hill from the buzz of Galle. You can easily get a tuk tuk to the forts/cricket ground. The staff are friendly and very helpful. "Easy to find on the main road. Hosts daughter who checked me in and showed me around was very friendly. Although travelling solo, I had booked their largest room with kitchenette and it was great. Spacious, very clean, had a small balcony along one side but you could leave your room and sit on the huge upstairs balcony with comfy chairs too.
