"My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. "

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gardner’s House!! Henrietta is a host that goes above and beyond for her guests. This was our first trip to Scotland to visit our son studying nearby, so it was a chilly time! The house was cozy and we loved playing cards by the fire in the parlor room. The grounds looked beautiful… we hope to come back when it is warm and we can explore! I highly recommend this vacation home for families. "Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...

"The advertised facilities at this property was a misrepresentation. There was no lounge but another room of beds. Lounge chairs seating 7 only were stuffed in the kitchen area. Dining area seated only 6 (we used chairs from the garden). The fridge door did not open properly and utensils were limited and broken. Sheets were stained and illfitting and the "king" room had a badly cracked window and broken light fitting. The overall impression was that of a house crammed with beds and seriously...

"A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark."

"I stayed here with my family in July. The house was dirty... the cutlery and pans were broken and rusted. The dishwasher was filthy. Heating broke down twice during our 2 days of stay. Beds were not comfortable. Overall a pathetic experience"

"The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future."

"The cottage is very nice. It is on two levels, the kitchen/dining is down quite a steep staircase that I found difficult to negotiate. I'm nearly 70 and my daughter fast approaching 50, so not spring chickens! If you want to use the sofa as a bed there is a 35 pound charge for linen that isn't made clear when booking. We both slept in the one bed which was fine. Extra charges should be mAde clear on booking and the fact it only has one bedroom was disappointing. Otherwise nice place if somewhat...

"The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors...
