"The Fleece inn, was a little hidden gem. Was a great pub that was furnished and decorated to a very high standard. They food was very nice and very good value. All the staff were very friendly. I would for sure Go back! "

"We've now stayed here on numerous occasions and always a pleasure to come back. Very peaceful & relaxing, with the benefit of the pool - especially when when it's blowing a gale outside! Service & food excellent, next door at the Dog & Gun. I'm sure we'll be beack again."

"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"Stayed in the Ribble Suite it was very nice apart from the Bathroom was very cold only having a small electric heated towel rail you have to leave the bathroom door open with the heat full on in the Suite for a hour or so to warm up the bathroom. our biggest gripe was that the Suite was warm all afternoon but when we returned to dress for dinner at 7pm the hotel heating had turned itself off and the room was uncomfortable chilly reported it to night manager who Forbes the hotel heating boiler...

"This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all"

"Ideally situated for public transportation into city centre. Numerous eateries situated within foot. No food available. Rather run down and seedy. Limited reception staff hours. Close to children’s nursery. Security an issue."

"It’s could be better "

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"From the moment we arrived Debbie made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless, the bed was ready comfy and the room was lovely and warm. In the morning when we went for breakfast Debbie greeted us with a good morning and a smile. Breakfast was well cooked, plentiful and set us up for the day. "Really professional and friendly staff. Tv sinal was dropping out. Couldn't get a signal mobile or wifi in the room and couldn't work out how to turn off the air condition which kept me awake all night. However that aside would stay again. Lovely looking. Well appointed. Easy access and good food and reception cant do enough. I didnt get the chance to use the spa andvpool but we ould certainly come back and will try it on that occasion. Great dinner and breakfast and very clean"

A little taste of tranquility in the heart of manc

"The customer service was excellent. The hotel itself is lovely. The room was really beautiful and comfortable the only small issue we had was temperature control (the thermostat was a bit fiddly) and the water coming through the pipes from other rooms could be noisy at times but aside from that which wasn’t a major thing was fantastic. Breakfast was really good. The lifts however were not the best. One was out of order and the other was small so there were queues building up and they took a long time to arrive. Overall I would recommend this hotel as the suites are very luxurious. Comfy bed A+ "
