"Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. Loved the view, and everyone was able to relax and enjoy our time together. Host was very attentive, checking in with us to ensure comfortable stay. Instructions and...

"We were a group of 9 cycling girlfriends from Victoria and this house was better than we expected. Having 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect and the living/kitchen space accommodated all of us hanging out together. We never used the 2nd floor TV area (which was large) or the lower living area (also large), but spent all our time either out hiking or enjoying the views from every area of the house. Two dishwashers and sinks meant cleanup was simple. Fantastic 3 nights. "

"The home was beautiful! It had everything we needed including a high chair and playpen. The views of the ocean are spectacular and the home is beautifully decorated and laid out for relaxing. "We really enjoyed the stay at Maple Bay. The bay and surrounding mountains are beautiful, and we enjoyed watching the water and wildlife over coffee every morning. The hosts were very helpful with local recommendations for hikes, towns to visit, restaurants, and other activities. A peaceful and relaxing escape from the busy outside world! Thanks again!"

"Location was very good. Small shopping centre nearby with grocery chain store, fast food outlets, liquor outet, Timmy's, gas and laundromat. Unit was good. A few things require attention. Had a small plumbing problem which was looked after very quickly. Nice to have washer and dryer in unit. Young family upstairs .that "

"The check in process was extremely easy. The list ofrequirements and expectations was straight forward and to the point. The mattress was like sleeping like I have never slept. The decor and anesthetic was pleasing. Sue was a delight to deal with and I know when I'm back out this way I will be checking for availability with her property "

"Great location, amazing views, good space for a family of 8 plus 1 toddler. Close to hiking, disc golf, cidery and winery. Kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Nice deck with hotub overlooking the water and beautiful sunsets"

"Very nice relaxing getaway !I am very fond of the RV, so many cabinets and so spacious! The bed is so comfortable and pillows so soft! The host is so friendly and welcoming, I love the farm animals as well! Such a simpleway of living.
