The peace, the view, trains, cows bellowing, roosters crowing, watching three baby goats take steps in their first days, along with enjoying lovely hosts David and Clara. If one notes there is no stove, there is an electric 2-burner hot plate and an electric fry pan. When eggs are available you won't find better (nor the local Braum milk). Sunrise on the porch with coffee or tea and all the morning sounds of the earth waking is just the best. Thank you David and Clara for making this available. "

"Very well maintained property right on the river. We had so much fun fishing off the deck. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, almost like a botanical garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing stay. The hosts could not be more accommodating."

"The man working counter was very nice, but this morning when I told the women I left hairdryer in room she was a very perturbed that I bothered her. I was trying to be kind and she was very cranky, there was not a hairdryer in the room and the maintence guy brought one up that attached to the wall. I asked that it be reattached till after we left. She was very rude that I even bothered her but I did not want to be charged for pulling it off the wall which I did not do. People in the hospitality business are supposed to be kind not bothered to talk to a guest."

"The only problem I had was that the floor was not clean. I wore brand new white socks and they were filthy after walking on the floor. Everything else was perfect."
