"It was ok for our 1 night. The room is dated but clean and functional. The mattress is old and not very comfortable. However everyone has different sleeping preferences when it comes to a mattress. No air conditioning. I would recommend for a short stay. "

"The Poshtel is truly a boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms that are all themed and unique. Rooms are a good size and very clean, but be prepared for a bit of noise (not too bad). The units fronting onto the main street have the usual traffic going by, and when we were put on the back side I thought it was a bonus - until the delivery trucks arrived to restock the grocery store, then the backup beepers started. That said, it wasn't too bad. The hotel itself and the staff (every one of them smiling and wonderful) easily made up for that tiny glitch. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Omaru."

"I was pleasantly surprised by how cute and quaint the Ahuriri Motels in Omarama were. Checking in late at night was easy since we sent an email beforehand letting them know we would be arriving late. The staff provided clear instructions for how to find our unit. The stay was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The bathroom was nice, and although the motel wasn't super luxurious, it was well-kept and clean. We really enjoyed our one-night stay during our road trip and appreciated the relaxing break it provided. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
