"The comms from the owner Rob were great from start to finish. Really made our stay as enjoyable as it could be. The house itself was very modern and fully equipped with everything you could need. The espresso machine was a real treat! The huge fully fenced garden was perfect for the kids.we had some unusually cold weather when down there so the spa pool really came in handy…especially after a days fishing. The location was perfect. Nice quiet cul-de-sac with great views of the surrounding...

"Generally a pretty positive experience. Nice place, hosts were excellent, both communication and helpfulness. We liked the location being the quieter end of Tapoe and a bit out more rural, but not all would. Probably the only negative is the accommodation is near the road so you hear (and feel) the cars and especially trucks passing even at night. The hosts try their best to limit the local traffic noise but its there. We were okay with it, but i imagine some people would find it difficult."

"My family and i had a stop over on our way back to Wellington from Northland. Perfect, clean and magnificent gardens, highly recommended. Next time we might have to stay a few extra nights, it has everything you need even a highchair for the littlies"

"No heating wood burner not working grass should be cut poor cleaning single bed very uncomfortable and water pressure so bad in the kitchen had buy bottled water to fill the kettle."

"Thank you for sharing your beautiful Piece of Paradise with us, we loved staying there. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. However, a couple of things would have improved our stay: we couldn't get the wood burner to work and weren't told about the burglar alarm (which we set off not knowing that there was one). We also couldn't find any scissors nor soap ( the hand wash in the bathroom was almost empty). Nevertheless, we would still recommend this as a good place to stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property as the house was as described with good quality linen and towels. This was a good location for the Tongariro Crossing which we completed during our stay and the river walks were great too. The drive back to Taupo was scenic and so the distance was not really an issue."

"Our family group (4 adults, 3 kids & a dog) we comfortably catered for in this house. It is a great location near the river (great for dog walks) and Creel Cafe (good coffee & scones!). The yard was fully fenced and our dog loved it. The kids had fun in the hot tub and enjoyed walking to the river & playground. Beds were comfy and the house in general was presentable and had all the facilities we needed. "

"This property was very clean, had a great kitchen and the area was very quiet. It could easily accommodate a larger family. Also, a washer and dryer were a great asset. Shopping was nearby as were the restaurants. Less convenient would be the bathroom. It has an excellent shower but the smallest sink I've ever seen. We also wondered whether the many extension cords in use everywhere wouldn't overload the electrical system. Still, overall it was very convenient and we enjoyed our stay."
