"We stayed here with our 2 kiddos ages 10 & 12. It was clean and cute and the kids were totally blown away by the experience of staying in a hobbit house! It definitely has a motel vibe, and the kitchenette is small, but there were some decorating touches that really added to the hobbit feel. The owners provided space heaters that were really nice to have, but the bunk room definitely developed a musty smell that we couldn’t get rid of. The property is really pretty to walk around and super close...

"This property would certainly be a five star location had a few details not been overlooked. The address is incorrect, we spent approx 45 minutes trying to locate the property after driving from AKL in the dark and with rain. It’s actually lot 10 on Lemonwood. I recommend arriving in daylight and note the lot numbers are very small on the fence. There was not one extra trash bag or a location to place the trash. We requested to check out one day early five weeks before the trip and they refused...

"Great spot, very local to all we wanted to do. Homemade bread, bacon & eggs were a enjoyable extra. Only problem was no lighting in the garage and the gas bottle for the bbq was empty, meaning a quick change of dinner plans."
