"Very nice hotel with a good view of Tongariro National park. There’s no AC in the rooms so it can get pretty stuffy unless you open the windows. But it gets chilly in the night so kinda evens out. And if you step outside in the night you get a very good view of the stars."

"Its pretty adequately placed near to the hiking spot for the alpine crossing about 25 mins away from katetahi car park. "

"Amazing stay, perfect for doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike and others in the area! Room was huge and had all the essentials and was very comfortable, with a kitchen and large living room. Pool and courtyard were also great and we loved playing mini putt in the front! Would love to stay here again!"

"Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff made late check in easy. We couldnt be accommodated in the restaurant, but we hadn't made a booking and there was a large group ahead of us. Being really close to townshio we found dinner easily elsewhere. We didn't stay long and would be happy to stay again when in the area."

"Amazing location and an amazing experience. Only criticism was WiFi was limited and although there was a TV, there was no TV aerial (you can borrow DVDs for free from reception). Note the dome gets hot during the day and cool during the night and there is the odd bug. HOWEVER it is a tent so expected and not a criticism. Overall I highly recommend it and I would stay there again! "

"10 mins walk to the supermarket and food caravans , coffee . Because the town is very small once you’re at the shops it’s easy to find your way round ."

"The 6 bedroom room, was just big enough for us. The room was quickly warmed up by the heatpump. The kitchen was well setup and the fridges were perfect to keep our food fresh. Oh, and the breakfast was just what we needed to start the day"
