"We chose this property based on reviews, affordability and lovely decor! I am so glad we did. There are many perks to staying here..it may seem remote at first, but it is conveniently located to both sides of the island for day trips. Also, you have all you need in this home for cooking meals. The space is appointed wonderfully with seating and places to relax inside/outside. It is so lovely here. We happen to meet our host a few days in..and wish we met her sooner! I mean..this home is a...

'The Aloha Green House' Retreat w/ Ocean Views!

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"This property and the host, Ruth, is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The location is rural, which is a plus for us. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The place is immaculate, so comfortable and she’s thought of everything to make our stay feel special. Its location to the green sand and black sand beaches, in addition to the national park and mountain cannot be beat. We loved it. "

"We had a great time exploring Ka’Haiya's beautiful property, exploring the southernmost tip of the US, and being lucky enough to have an eruption occur at Mauna Loa while we were there. Ka’Haiya is a gracious hostess and we enjoyed all of our interactions."

Hawaii Yurt luxury for less

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (51)
"Very quiet location the host was very flexible and responsive. There is no kitchen but bbq has a burner on the side. And the yurt came with all the pots and pans you would need. The yurt it self if very spacious the sky light offers great star gazing from your bed and nice natural light in the day. It is not to far of a drive from amazing attraction like black sand beach and volcano national park. I especially loved the dogs and the cats roaming the property. Wonderful glamping 10/10"
