"This condo was new, clean, in a terrific location. Beach and city close at hand. Restaurants and bars, groceries, all nearby. Sadly the kitchen was sparsely outfitted, two small saucepans, and one small frying pan. No flipper (which made getting a fried egg out of a pan with a spoon, challenging), no colander. When a larger pot for boiling pasta and a colander were requested we were told they would not be provided. Ironically, there was a cookbook on the counter at check-in. Impossible to cook...

"The unit is extremely clean and cosy, the bed is super comfortable, and the shower pressure is fabulous. The view is magnificent and the road quiet. It borders the nature reserve so you can hear the birds. It is a climb up the hill - but where isn't a climb in Wellington city - and the height gives you the view and a sense of being up and out of the city stress. There is also a bus route not far away and it was only $20 taxi from Cambridge Tce in the city. The parking is directly outside...
