"This location is perfect and convenient to visit all the different places in Kauai. It's also close to the airport which makes nice so you don't have to waste time driving. You will definitely need a car. The view was gorgeous and you could hear the ocean from the room. Loved having the beach towels and beach chairs to take to the beach. The whole resort is beautiful and the restaurants and pool bar were great. Loved that you can grab your Starbucks coffee each morning at the lobby store. ...

"The resort is well keep with good restaurants on the property . Room location is good wit nice view of plantation and ocean view . Enjoyed view of sunrise. Beach is few steps away to beach. One major negative is does not have basic amenities of mircowave / kitchenette in room. Towel service is at extra cost. "

Property has some age to it, but it was clean and generally well maintained (did have a sticking door latch that had to be oiled twice to get it to work properly while there over course of 6 days). Would liked to have had a microwave in the room. Loved the view from our 2d story deck (ocean and approximately 5 acre grass area that the local birds used heavily. On site restaurant was pricey and fish and chips was bad, but the bar/food by the pools was good. "

"The room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. This is a room at a resort with two queen beds just as described, although I felt it was roomier than I expected. The check in was easy with someone at the front desk 24/7, a concierge to help plan outings, a restaurant, several pools (water not heater, but this didn’t bother the kids) and a beach to see sunrises/sunsets from. The lanai faces a greenbelt so there is privacy and the location is such that you can see the water....

"The location was great. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Watching the sun rise and set was absolutely gorgeous from the balcony or deck. The rooms are very dated. There was no air conditioning but with the doors open it’s stayed cool. The pool area is very nice and the pool is kept in excellent condition."

"Quiet resort in front of the ocean. Beach adjacent to the property down few steps directly to the sand on a beautiful small beach. Rental chairs and umbrella at the resort for reasonable price. Surf lesson available at the resort. Restaurant on site is excellent. Rooms ground level partial ocean view with seating area are excellent location. Highly recommended "

Amazing Stay

"Amazing stay at Koloa Landing. The service was extraordinary - one employee went out of their way to give our 2 small children a couple stuffies at the market at no charge. Small gestures like this made the stay that much more enjoyable. The pool was amazing that it makes it hard to want to leave the resort and explore. We had whale sightings everyday from our ocean view balcony too, which was a surprise. We also enjoyed the restaurant from ordering up to our room or sitting poolside and enjoying meals. Would definitely recommend."
