"Disappointing. Stained bedding. Strong smell in the unit. Extremely noisy from road traffic. Unit shook whenever a truck went past. not value for money compared to similarly priced accommodation. Would not stay again. "

Clean and comfortable stay

"We only stayed for one night at Waitomo Lodge but quite enjoyed it. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Check in and out was straightforward. After reading previous reviews we put our headphones on before going to sleep and didn't hear any trains, had a very good night sleep."
