"Ended up staying at The Fairmont after the other property that I’d booked wouldn’t allow me to change the number of days we were staying (had to change our trip from 7 to 5 nights due to scheduling conflicts) and instead that I cancel and re-book. I chose not to re-book with previously booked property and instead chose The Fairmont. Room was nice, service was good and everyone was friendly and attentive. Very pleased and would recommend "

"The place is beautiful and it was plenty big for the family of five. The only drawback - we were told that there would be supplies and if we ran out, we should buy the rest. That seemed fair but for a family of five, the amount of shampoo that was left was enough for one person. Outside of that, it was great and we would rent it again! The balcony was enormous and worked well for our family!"

"The property was as advertised- clean, stylish, well supplied, great location. We had all the dishes and cooking supplies needed to prepare a holiday meal for our family, who stayed in several condos. We made great use of the beach chairs and umbrellas, as well. This unit has a beautiful view of the hills, with a roomy lanai including a large dining table. Communication w/the hosts was flawless and efficient... all great things to say! "Location - right next to the dumpster and the smoking section… nothing like trash and smoke smell all week. The room was similar to a rundown super 8, not clean, the beds were not comfortable and didn’t really feel comfortable staying there. There was 1 box of Kleenex with 2 tissues in it, lack of dishes had us running dishwasher daily, and the demands by the host made us feel like we had to leave it cleaner than when we came. We were not impressed in the least and will not recommend nor stay...

"We were pleasantly surprised at about this resort. First off, receiving the Expedia gold upgrade was amazing!! Received a huge 2300 sf 2 bedroom suite with a wraparound oceanfront deck. Just sitting on the deck with the waves at the shore was a highlight of our trip! The facility had all that we needed and was right across the street from grocery/pharmacy and had a food truck area every night with great food. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good, and we loved that there was a bar...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Honua Kai Resort and Spa. It's location was ideal for us. The studio was the perfect size for the two of us, and loved having the kitchenette for simple fixings. The balcony had a lovely view, and feel that the location to the beach and to Duke's made everything so easy. The bed/pillows were quite comfortable and easy access to valet parking. The parking valets were all very friendly and helpful for suggestions or directions."
