"Peter and Wendy were wonderful hosts from the get-go and helped guide and direct us towards the bach with complete ease. They also helped us load our belongings into the bach for the short walk up to the bach! The bach itself is beyond serene - fully equipped with every little thoughtful thing to make the guests feel more welcome, at home, and comfortable! We absolutely loved the whole experience right from the start to the end. The sounds of the birds, the scenic view from every window at the property, and the absolute sense of peace was the perfect way to get a little escape and taste the beauty of NZ. Would a 100% recommend this spot to any nature lover or just anyone looking to restore themselves from the daily hustle of every day life!"

"The view of the harbour from my room was sublime, very peaceful and serene. The unit was very spacious and had ample sleeping for five. I relaxed and enjoyed the coverage of the Paris Olympics provided on Sky while gazing out at the tranquil waters. A short drive to restaurants and bars. A friendly welcome from the Kiwi hosts make this a very memorable experience. I will definitely be back soon!"

"It was my first visit to Waikawau area where there are two adjacent beautiful bays, Waikawau Bay and Little Bay. The holiday home, Kaka Cottage we stayed at was truly a nice place to enjoy comfort and tranquility as it is situated in the top forest and the host couple is very kind and friendly. They are peace loving people. We really enjoyed staying at the house. I recommend to all."
