"I think this must be our fifth stay since about 2014. We love this place for its serenity and beauty. The check-in process and communication are always easy and allow us to maximise our primary goal of just sitting and staring out over Mercury Bay for hours on end! It's lovely that Luke's Kitchen is only 10 minutes away for a casual meal, and Whitianga is only a 20-minute drive. This place is truly taonga (treasure)."

"Enjoyable stay with comfortable bed, plenty of towels available and close to Ferry landing.Major issue for us was the extremely rough track which wasn't a pleasant experience each time we went out and came back. We would consider it more than a "bumpy driveway". Smart TV did not work after day 2 unless it was operator error. Otherwise everything was available that enables us to have an enjoyable stay."

"A well appointed convenient and comfortable loft with fantastic views. Very pleasant and quiet in the late afternoon and evening. We were dismayed at the level of evasive noise including music and clearly audible conversation from the cafe below beginning around 7.20am until the end of the day. Jos did address the loud music in the early hours but still a lot of noise coming from below. Descent sound installation would help. If you are not bothered by noise then a great place to stay"
