"We needed a week away from the ice and snow. This was our first trip to the Charleston area. We chose the Tides at Folly beach partially on price and partially on location. We wanted the ocean view and hotel amenities. Folly beach is a nice area with several good restaurants and shops all in walking distance. I ended paying more than 40$ a day and the sign on building says parking will not exceed 24$ a day.
