The room smelt horrible, had crystallised damp on the walls, a dirty bathroom (especially the shower curtain), electric wires exposed on appliances and overall of a general poor standard. "This hotel was the perfect place to base myself for exploring Petra. I received a free upgrade to a bigger room on arrival with a gorgeous view out over the valley. The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the main street of Petra which I thought might have been a bit disappointing but proved to be great respite.
