"Beautiful house and property. Just what was needed for a bridal house and her friends. Host were easy to contact and everything was just as pictured. I would book again for large family gatherings. "

"Although remote, it was worth the drive to find it! So quiet and beautiful among the horse pastures and cornfields. We only used the main level which was perfect for the 3 of us including my 80 year old mother. If you don’t appreciate family history and vintage furnishings, you may be disappointed. It’s like staying at your grandma’s home and was perfect for us. Covered carport was very convenient as it was raining when we arrived."

"Upon arrival we saw several dogs, a goat and horse in the yard. I called the owner and he came out the back. He said those animals would stay in the front yard so we’d have to enter and exit through the back door. My husband and myself walked through and the elderly owner was kind but underprepared. The house smelled like dogs, dogs ran up to us and actually peed on the carpet infront of us. The owner stated his wife had recently passed and he had been trying to clean for weeks. "Almost everything in this home is brand new, from the appliances and floors to paint job to the sinks and showers. The space was exceptionally clean, and the master (king) foam bed was very comfortable. While the water pressure was on the lower side, the shower was spotless, and the water temperature was consistent. "This spot was perfect for a last-minute mother-daughter getaway! We found it to be adequately stocked with necessities and exceptionally clean. It's located on a quiet cove not too far from the main road, so there is easy access to the main roads. The hosts' communication was top-notch, and we couldn't have had a better weekend.
